Born: 27 August 1836 in Liverpool and died 15th March 1904 in Churt.
Son of: Charles Crompton (1797-1865) and Caroline Fletcher (????-1882).
Brother of:
1. Charles Crompton (1833-1890) who married Florence Elizabeth Gaskell (1842-????).
2. Mary Davies (nee Crompton, 1835-1895) who married John Llewellyn Davies (1826-1915).
3. Caroline Anna Robertson (nee Crompton, 18??-1892) who married George Croom Robertson (1842-1892).
4. Emily Beesly (nee Crompton, 1852-19??).
5. Albert Crompton (1852-????).
6. Edward Crompton (1852-????) who married Agnes Mary Berry.
Henry married: 8 November 1870 Lucy Henrietta Romilly (18??-1923).
Henry and Lucy had issue:
1. Paul Crompton (1871-1915) who married Gladys Mary S Schwabe (18??-1915).
2. David Crompton (1873-19??). Barrister-at-Law.
