The Last Will and Testament of Henry Crowe of Burnham Ulpa in the County of Norfolk Clerk whereby in the first place I give and devise unto the Reverend John Glass of Burnham Westgate in this County Clerk the Reverend Robert Forby of Fincham in the same County Clerk and Henry Crowe my son all such part and parts and so much of my messuages houses farms lands tenements and hereditaments situate lying and being in North Pickenham  Sporle with Palgram and Holme

Hale within the said County of Norfolk or in any of the Town parish or plan to them any or either of them next or more adjoining as an freehold or Charterhold to hold the same hereditaments and premises with the appurtenances unto the said John Glass Robert Forby and Henry Crowe my son their heirs and assessors upon trust and confidence . . . to sell and dispose of the same as soon as conveniently can be or shall be thought proper after my decease with the copyhold parts thereof hereinafter directed to be sold and pay apply the monies arising therefrom to the several persons and in manner hereinafter mentioned and directed and I do hereby authorise and empower desire and direct the said John Glass Robert Forby and Henry Crowe my son and the survivors and survivor of them his executors or administrators as soon as conveniently can or shall be thought proper after my decease to sell and absolutely dispose of all such part and parts and so much of my Messuages Bonds, houses, lands tenements and hereditaments situate lying and being in North Pickenham  Sporle with Palgrave and Holme Hale aforesaid or in any of the Town Parish or plan to them or any or either of them next or near adjoining with the appurts and all my Estate right with and whereof whatsoever in and to the same either together or in parts and by public sale or private contract with the freehold and Charterhold hereditaments hereinbefore devised in trust to be sold as aforesaid or any person or persons that will become the purchasor or purchasors thereof for the best price and most money that shall be reasonably obtained for the same . . . to bargain all and . . . the hereditaments and premises hereinbefore devised and directed to be sold unto and to the use of such purchasor or purchasors his her and their heirs and assigns for .. or  otherwise to such uses and in such manner as he she or they direct or appoint and as shall be most expedient and effectual to pass and convey  same and to .. and take the consideration money as and to be paid for the purchase thereof together with the Rents issues and profits of the same until the sale thereof shall be completed and to give good  and sufficient Receipts and discharges for such purchasors monies and Rents and every part thereof and I do hereby declare that after such Receipts and discharges shall be given the purchasor or purchasors tenant or tenants of the premises so directed to be sold shall not be in any manner answerable or accountable by any person or persons .. or affected by the future application misapplication or nonapplication of such purchasors monies or rents or any part thereof and my mind and will  is and I do hereby declare the same to be that the monies which shall arise be the sale of the aforesaid Freehold and copyhold hereditaments and premises shall after deducting the charges and expenses attending the sale or paid retained and applied in manner thereinafter mentioned that is to say the sum of  one thousand and two hundred unto Mary my Wife in discharge and satisfaction of a certain Bond made and entered into by me previous to our marriage the sum of  one thousand and  five hundred pounds unto Caroline Crowe my daughter and the sum of five hundred pounds unto my Daughter Katherine Helsham Widow and that the Residue of the said purchase monies

Shall be divided unto three equal shares and that one such share shall be paid unto the said Katherine Helsham my Daughter for her own use and that the two remaining shares shall be retained by the said John Glass and Robert Forby upon the several trusts hereinafter mentioned concerning the same and I hereby order and direct that the Rents and profits which shall be raised for the aforesaid hereditaments until sale thereof shall after paying the interest of the said sum of one thousand and two hundred pounds to the said Mary my Wife from the time of my decease till the same is paid be paid in equal shares unto the said Henry Crowe my Son and Caroline Crowe and Katherine Helsham my Daughters and I bequeath the use of all my household goods and Furniture linen plate glass pictures and . . . unto the said Mary my Wife for and during the term of her natural life only and after her decease I order and direct my executors hereinafter named to sell and dispose of the same and to pay the monies arising therefrom after deducting the charges attending the sale unto and between my said  Son Henry Crowe and Caroline Crowe and Katherine Helsham my Daughters in equal shares and it is my desire that all Inventory and accounts of all such household goods and effects the of which is given to my said Wife for life shall be made within one month after my decease and that my said Wife and . . . of my Executors keep a fair copy thereof and I give all my Wine and Liquors unto the said Mary my Wife and I give unto the said John Glass and Robert Forby all my 3 per cent Consolidated Bank Security Stock and all of the . . . thereof Stocks standing in my name in the Books of the Bank of England and also the sum of three hundred pounds . . . to me on mortgage of the Tolls arising on the . . . Eastgate Turnpike upon the several trusts hereinafter mentioned . . . that is to say upon trust that they the said John Glass and Robert Forby and the Survivor of them his Executors or administrators shall and do pay the Interest and dividends arising therefrom unto the said Mary my Wife for and during the term of her natural life and from and after her decease that upon trust to sell and dispose of the said trust Stocks and Turnpike Securities and after deducting the charges attending the Sale shall and do pay one equal third part or share of the monies arising therefrom unto my said Daughter Katherine Helsham for her own use and shall and do put and place out of the trust on Government or good Real Security the remaining two third parts thereof upon the several trusts hereinafter mentioned concerning the same and as to all the rest Residue and remainder of my monies and Securities for money and personal estate not hereinafter bequeathed I order and direct shall be divided into three equal parts or shares and I give and bequeath one equal third part or share thereof unto my said Daughter Katherine Helsham for her own use and the remaining two thirds parts or shares I bequeath unto the said John Glass and Robert Forby upon the several  trusts hereinafter mentioned concerning the same that is to say upon trust that they

the said John Glass and Robert Forby and the survivor of them their Executors or Administrators shall and do put and place the same out at interest on Government or good Real Security together with the two third parts of the residue of the monies arising from the Sale of my aforesaid Freehold and copyhold hereditaments and also together with the remaining two third parts of the monies to arise by the Sale of my aforesaid Government Stock and Turnpike Securities as soon after the decease of my said wife as conveniently can be and shall and do pay the Interest and dividends arising from a monthly of all  the said trust monies and property unto the said Henry Crowe my son for and during the term of his natural life and from and after the decease then upon trust to call in and pay or transfer a monthly of all the aforesaid trust monies and property unto the children of the said Henry Crowe my Son lawfully begotten if more than one in equal shares and if but one such child then the whole to such only child at his or her age of twenty one years with the Interest to be made thereof in the meantime and if there shall be no such child or being such all of them shall happen to depart this life under the age of twenty one years then upon trust to call in and pay the said money of the said trust monies and property with the interest then . . . unto my said daughter Katherine Helsham for her own use absolutely and upon further trust that they the said John Glass and Robert Forby and the Survivor of them his Executors or Administrators shall and do pay the Interest and dividends arising from the remaining money of all the said trust monies and property unto the said Caroline Crowe my Daughter for and during the term of her natural life and from and after her  decease then upon trust to call in and pay or transfer the said last mentioned money of all the said trust monies and property unto the children of the said Caroline Crowe my Daughter lawfully begotten in equal shares if more than one and if but one such child then the whole to such only Child at his or her age of twenty one years with the interest to be made thereof in the meantime and if there shall be no such Children or being such all of them shall happen to die under Age then upon trust to call in and pay the said last mentioned and remaining money of the said trust monies and property unto the said Katherine Helsham my Daughter with the Interest then one therein for  her own use absolutely but my mind and will is and I do hereby expressly declare the same to be that in case the said Katherine Helsham my Daughter shall depart this life before me or before any of the legacies or sums of money given or bequeathed to her by this my Will or made payable to her in case my said Son Henry Crowe or Caroline Crowe my Daughter shall die without leaving issue to attain the age aforesaid then I do hereby give and bequeath all such legacies trust monies and property as the said Katherine Helsham (insert to side - my Daughter would have been . . . to if  living unto the Children of the said Katherine Helsham) my Daughter in equal shares to be paid them at their several and respective ages of twenty one years and I request the said John Glass and Robert Forby and the Survivor of them his Executors or administrators to put place out and . . . the same monies and property at Interest on such Security as is
