Peter's father was Rev Henry Finch (1633-1704) of Warrington. Peter is mentioned in 'The Christian Reformer or Unitarian Magazine and Reformer'. New Series Vol 3, 1847, page 591. He died 6 October 1754 on his 93rd birthday. A copy of the above engraving is in the Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge.
