Half-length, in a turquoise dress and red wrap, feigned oval signed and dated 'D Heins Fec/1726' (lower left) and inscribed 'Dorothy Branthwayt/Ob:1769' (lower right) and inscribed 'Dorothy Branthwayt/3rd dr of Arthur by Ann/dr of Thomas Bacon/Esq. ob:sep 26. 1769./Coelebs was buried/in the aisle of Hether/church by the side of her/sister Julian' (on the reverse) oil on canvas 30 x 25 in.
