Portraits of Anna Maria Kett nee Phillips and her husband Henry Kett
Painted in 1741 by the artist John Theodore Heins of Norwich, Norfolk
Henry Kett was the eldest son of Richard Kett of St Peter, Mancroft, Norwich, and his first wife, Rachel Tyrell of Hardwick. He married Anna Maria, daughter of George Phillips of Stoke Ferry. Their eldest son Thomas Kett married Hannah Gurney. Thomas Kett was one of the founder members in 1792, of Kett, Hatfield & Black, the well known Norwich bank, which was eventually to become the Thomson, Barclay & Ives Bank. She married Henry Kett.
