Son of: Anthony Jones and Mary Jones of Bildeston.
Brother of: Richard Jones.
Robert married: Elizabeth Charlotte Jones (nee Purvis).  Married 17 October 1824, Elizabeth died 30 January 1849.
Robert and Elizabeth had issue:
1. Dr Robert Edward Jones, Surgeon (1825-1883) who married Francis Anne Jones (?-1903).
