Born: circa 1764, and christened 2 May 1764 at All Hallows, Staining, London, and died 13th September 1838 at her residence, Lockleys, aged 73.
Only child of: James Crisp and Elizabeth Crisp (nee Marsh).
Elizabeth married: 2 August 1783 at Hugli near Calcutta, Sir George Shee Esq (1754-1825), of Castlebar, County Mayo.
Elizabeth and George had issue:
1. Sir George Shee (1784-1870) of Dunmore, Galway, and of Mudeford House.
2. Lieut Gen Charles Shee (1789-1856).
3. Henry Shee (1796-????).
4. Elizabeth Dering (nee Shee, 17??-1861) who married Col Robt Dering of Locksley, Herts.
5. Letitia Crisp.

We know of Elizabeth from the following sources:
1. "History of the Ancient Family of Marsh" by Joseph J. Green, Archivist and Genealogist, 1903, revised to date by Wm. Ernest Marsh, of Marston, Bromley, Kent, 1912.
2. An excellent book about her mother 'The Ordeal of Elizabeth Marsh' by Prof Linda Colley, 2007.

George Shee was made a Baronet 22 January 1794.
